Hi folks. To start my lg-ls720 Optimus F3 is a Virgin Mobile device.
I have Facebook version 31.0.0.20.13, the newest update. My version looks like this when opening:
My girlfriend has the EXACT same device with the same version of Facebook and when she opens Facebook it looks like this:
Notice when mine is open there are 3 options at the bottom of the screen: STATUS, PHOTO, and CHECK IN.
Ok... Notice when she opens her Facebook there is a "round button" at the bottom of her page which when pushed looks like this:
All of my options to post are neatly at the bottom of the page and hers, being a woman, she does not like the way hers looks when she oprns Facebook and she has to press the circle button at the bottom of her page to get that faded looking page with her posting options stacked on top of each other. It really isn't as neat looking as mine and she likes my look better.
What we do not understand is we have the exact same device and model number and exact same version of Facebook yet it looks different when opening. I have compared app settings and both are the the same in settings. She is kinda picky and wants the same look that mine has.
At one time she had 2 different Gmail accounts in her device and before she brought it to me to remove one of the accounts she factory reset the android because she couldnt figure out how to delete one of her accounts. I created a new Gmail account for her after the device was reset and she started over. After creating the new account and the start up screen appeared, there was a little green android bot icon on her home screen that was labeled Facebook. I pressed the icon which led me to a Facebook download and that was the look she got. After an update today, she supposedly had the same version number (which it was) as the version number mine is but still looks different than mine.
PLEASE... Can someone with any knowledge of all the things she did to the device tell me why her version acually looks different than mine does? I dont really understand it. Before the reset to factory, she did have the same look on her page as I do now with my FB. All system updates to her device are up to date as mine are. Any clue anyone?
