Root Lg marquee ls855 rooting help

I'm new to this rooting thing. This is really making me mad. I have been trying to root my phone for a whole week.

I have an LG Marquee LS855 with the newest update ZVC
 
Just keep trying. A lot of people have to try many times before their phone will root. Just follow the instructions to the T and it should work for you. I think that I had read that there is another way to root the phone. Just can't remember where I read it. :-/
 
It's all about the timing
Boost- as soon as you see the working symbol on the computer, power on the phone.
Sprint- it's supposed to be around 12 seconds. I got the boost version second try. :) don't give up!
 
Make sure you're using the KDZ update tool as an administrator and that you have java environment 1.6 or newer, also if you're a boost mobile user right after you clock update you turn on your phone, if your a sprint user you have to wait 12 seconds, timing is everything, also make sure its in smartphone mode.
 
i have been having issues rooting all week as well i can only assume that its the phone drivers since i have had other phones plugged in to my computer my driver is adb something or nother by google i have tryed many things to remove that driver and us the LG driver how ever the KDZ updater to get so far before failing

I have an old computer 3.0ghz 2gig ddr2 with xp sp3 so i have started by trying the turn phone on right on time to watching a stop watch and i found that i get the above resalts at 32seconds the phone never stops or slows down booting. if i wait to 36 seconds the KDZ doesn't connect.
Anyone near northwest Ohio north east Indiana Michigan tri-state area I can visit and be educated

I've heard some people had problems with sp3 on xp. Make sure everything is up to date. If you still can't get it, see if you can use a friends computer with a newer os. I used 7 and didn't have a problem. Rooted first try

Since you're already at param 72 you should be almost there probably about a second or 2 on the timing I posted something similar to this on the rooting thread just do a quick search for all the people with the same issue as they say just keep at it its really frustrating though lol
