LG's payment solution wasn't the most elegant out there, with the company making use of physical white cards to act as a happy medium between convenience and security. Well, that may change with the LG G6.
A new report out of Korea suggests LG is looking to use MST technology for mobile payments going forward.
MST stands for magnetic secure transmission, a technology that "beams" the information from your phone to the magnetic reader inside of a PoS terminal in the absence of NFC. This allows you to use your phone with almost any credit card terminal. Samsung was the first to employ this technology in their Galaxy series.
