Help LG Motion 4g Tethering

Can I still tether with the $60 Dollar plan? They told me tethering is not compatible with this plan.
I switched to a Samsung GS3 and bought Mobile hotspot to tether.
I still have the $50 plan and I was able to tether for free on the lg motion.
but will it continue to work if i change the plan to $60 for faster speeds?

I've been tethering without issue and without much ado by simply using PDANet+. Very little fuss. However, be advised that I don't use it to stream high data-consuming vids and such, so my 4G data use while tethering is fairly small.
