That's what I'd like to know. I bought my esteem and connect from the store and all i see is a total price on the yellow paper. About 400 each. If i had known an upgrade or activation fee was added in there I would activate it myself.

The way to avoid the fee is if you buy online buying from the store they will charge that activation fee it used to be $10 :(

I'm not so much tripping about paying the ten bucks. It's just when they don't list what I'm paying for, just writing down a total makes me feel they're trying to pull some sneaky moves. :/

Thanks for the heads up i will buy my the s3 online when it does drop.
 
new activations are free, at least here. Changing phones will be a 15$ fee...if we dont charge it , its on us not Metro

I break it out on my reciepts


$173.31 with 6.25 sales tax and upgrade here.
 
OR like I did I bought an optimus M+ for my lil sis at best buy mobile at a cheaper price then I called it in and had it activated no charge cus best buy mobile doesn't activate metro or most prepaid phones. Saved myself $35 like that :D

Right but they don't have new models from Metro right away
 
so if i buy it online which is cheaper it be 149 just 149 with out any taxes and what so ever? and changing my phone to this account be 15 bucks?? that sounds cheap its 10 dollars cheaper!! lol i did the math and thank you !

i bought a few phones that said that at best buy in the past and they always made you activate it at the store.if you were a existing customer you just lost your phone number but you could still do the promo.

so the way i see it is your number worth $57 to you.who knows you might just be able to swap phones anyways since you activate it with metro not wirefly.

i would still contact wirefly if i was you to see exactly how it works.
