LG Motion notification tones play too long

My wife's phone is an LG Motion with MetroPCS. It is not rooted (yet), but we have a problem that I can't find mention of in the forum. When she gets a text or notification from something, it will play non-stop until she checks it. Naturally, if she's asleep and it doesn't wake her, this can be problematic. I don't know what to do about it. Any suggestions?

Get a sound/ringtone editor off the market(edit it to the length you want), and add it to the text notification sounds(hit the + button at the top right in the text notification sounds), and set it. Easy. ;) Not sure if she added a long text tone/ringtone, but That's the only thing I could think of that could cause that. :dontknow:
 
Ok, I feel like an idiot. The problem was the particular notification tone. It was a looping ogg file. None of the other tones looped like that, so the notification is normal now.
