Root LG Motion TeamViewer Quick Support

So, I searched and searched of different ways to get this program on the LG Motion since apparently LG does not yet fully support the Quick Support part of TeamViewer on Android. For those that do not know what I am talking about here is a video below..

Finally, I saw that top comment about contacting the manufacturer (LG) regarding support for this software. I was wondering if anyone on this forum is willing to send a quick email to LG as I did to get this good looking software without root procedures supported on the phone.

I did successfully manage to install Quick Support on the Motion through backdoors, but I get an unsupported firmware version error when it loads up due to this error.

I think this is a software we could all benefits from, FYI no I am not associated with TeamViewer nor do sponsor, or am being sponsored by them in any way, just another LG Motion owner..

Any thoughts people, besides, the Root, Method CWM Flashing Method when it does become available I could not find anything remotely similar to this..?

Try PhoneMyPC. It works like a charm. Setup takes 5 min. Very responsive and user friendly interface. It included Monitoring, Webcam view, full control, etc etc.
 
Are you trying to control the phone with your PC? If so LG included that feature on the phone. Go to Settings>Scroll Down>Click Connectivity> Enable "On Screen Phone". Google it if you want more info. Its pretty neat though, works over wifi, USB, or Bluetooth.
 
I can find several programs like PhoneMyPC... but what I am looking for here is a PCMyPhone if you get what I mean in terms of what you are talking about... If I want to remote control my PC I can use the already free version of TeamViewer.. see below..

Let me give you a better example of what has yet to come to LG and many other manufactures..

They are from opposite points..
 
Okay, I get what you mean now. Yeah I've used TeamViewer before, forgot you could use it across networks. Tbh I'm sure there's some kind of way to do that with on screen phone or other apps, but it would require a lot more work. I've done it with vpns before. Anyways, I hope you can get it to work.
 
And other devices as well. But primarily samsung. They would like to extend support but they cannot do so.without the manufacturers help.

What you may wish to do is call in and ask that a VOC be filed as either a Product Complaint, Product Suggestion, or both, ******!

You are correct that the one suggested above.. can be used on LG Motion but you fail to understand there are two different versions of TeamViewer for Android of which specifically on LG Devices current in discussion LG Motion can only use the primary one the remote which is Android to PC.


You have:

1. TeamViewer Remote : Available on all Android phones.
2. TeamViewer Quick Support : Only available to Samsung and other supported few devices.

1. TeamViewer Remote is only for Android to PC remote connection.
2. TeamViewer QuickSupport is for PC to Android remote connection.

Try to find me an app that will do PC to Android Remote connection over 3G or 4G and not limited to wifi or USB connection. That is unless you use root on this phone and flash in TeamViewer Quick Support, hence the reason why it exists in the CWM Flashing method. ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836780

Note that the only reason as to why it isn't available on LG Devices is not because it cant be done but because the Manufacturer does not yet support it hence the point of my original post.
