I installed Link2SD months ago and initially it did everything I wanted: I was able to install apps and "link" them to the SD card without any problems. After a while, however, I noticed that I could no longer install apps, even though there is still plenty of space on my SD card (I hardly use any apps to begin with, and would probably be fine with any other phone that had a decent amount of built-in space). And recently, I am unable to even update some apps (the larger ones, it seems), as I get an "insufficient space" dialog box when the apps try to update.
When I look at my storage info under Link2SD, it says that my Internal (/data) is 13% free (1.24GB total, of which 1.07GB is used and 171MB is free).
It then goes on to give those same exact numbers under the heading of SD Card (/storage/sdcard0)
It then shows my External SD as 99% Free (/storage/external_SD), with a total of 22.44 GB, 32.00KB having been used
Finally, it shows SD Card 2nd Part. as 80% Free (/data/sdext2), the total at 6.81GB, 1.33GB used, leaving 5.48GB free.
Evidently, stuff is being linked to this 2nd partition, and I guess I need to get to the other external partition (External SD) to open up more space. But I don't know how to do this. And even so, there should still be plenty of space on the 2nd partition to update current apps and install new ones. I just tried to update MLB.com, which is only 33-and-some-odd-MB, and it gave me the "insufficient storage available" messaage. I can't imagine, with 5.48 GB showing as free, that a measly 33-34 MB update is running up against storage limits.
I only vaguely remember setting up the two partitions when I first installed Link2SD. As I remember it, this was the recommended, or perhaps even required, way to do it. I think, being that I don't use too many apps, that I intended the 2nd partition to be a storage space for music (something I'd still like to do).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
