Help LG Optimus M not charging!!!!

Try removing your battery then replacing it. Sorry not sure if you will be charged. I am assuming you have insurance.
I am pretty sure the warranty is a year, but could be wrong. If I it shows no signs of damage then the warranty should apply. If covered they charge $10 but you will probably get a refurbished one. It could be a battery problem. Also make sure that the water damage indicator is not triggered because if it is then you have no coverage.

I know this is going to sound SO elementary but, have you tried another AC outlet or using the cable while attached to your computer?
The factory chargers don't have an LED light on them so it would be easy to assume that the outlet has power if you don't have anything else plugged into it.
Also, if you have any compressed air, give the charging port a gentle blast.
Make sure the phone is off before trying this next option.
Try to clean the charging port with a Q-Tip dampened with rubbing alcohol. Dampened, not dripping wet with rubbing alcohol.

Seems like the battery has a defect. Try buying a new battery from a metropcs store.
