Hey guys, I've got the LG optimus one and I was wondering if anyone else out there who has it thinks it's a good phone or not? Or even if you dont have it, what's your opinions on the phone?

LG Optimus One users can best answer that for you, so I moved your question to that device forum.

Definitely! Ive had it for a day, and a half, and i have already fallen in love with it! For that price, its more than worth it....

I see. Yeah I guess I asked this cause my friend was rubbing his Samsung Galaxy s in my face. I'm like woopeedoo you got a better phone than me. They still do the same shit mostly.

yes, you are right!
O1 it's really good for the money you spend.
the difference between the android phones it's mostly the hardware (processor, ram and display which in my opinion it's the big difference)
the only thing with O1 is that you cant run new HD games like the one gameloft launched, but i see on the net that some games run... in rest O1 it's up there fighting with the big boys :) i know i love mine :D and it's very hard with not it because it's at intensive care (service) now.
yahoo with voice and video it's great, games are good some a little laggy but ok (you can overclock the cpu if rooted and solved this problem)...
overall it's a good smartphone. my next phone will be a 4" or more for hd games :)

the big - is the flash player.. hope 2.3 brings us flash :-ss

it is a great phone. at 1st i was very disappointed by its battery back up, but now i used to it. If cell manufacturer ever made a battery which lasts in a week on android platform than AND. will be sole champion.

No major complaints for the entry level price, no flash support, laggy at times but seems improved an upgrade to 2.2.2 and one additional upgrade via pc suite. Not sure what the second upgrade was sine no info. Now it's smoother and not so laggy.more fun than my previous bb 8520

The community of this phone is very active on xda and new custom roms, kernels pop out each day. So if you're into modifying, this one's too great for it's price. Otherwise it is still good ;)

I see only to major problems with this phone:

- bad sound quality, you will hear all the time hiss/static noise on the background.
- dust under the screen. from what I read (I CAN'T CONFIRM IT) only the version with the sdcard next to the camera lens has this dust problem, so get the version with the sdcard at the left bottom. I have the one with the sdcard near the camera lens and after 6 weeks I have dust under the screen, I used pocket case for the phone from the moment I bought it and took care but I still got dust under the screen.

- IMO! My phone was kinda slow with Android 2.2.2 because of the screen bug. But now Android 2.3 Gingerbread is available. Furthermore you can install custom ROMs/kernels to make your phone even faster. It is best android phone in his price range.

You can check xda forum for more informations about this phone.

My wife has an LG Optimus One. It's a great phone but I still prefer my (cheaper) Orange San Francisco (ZTE Blade). Each to their own though. Both are cracking phones for the price. :)

 I recently bought an Optimus one (White). It looks a 1000 times better than the blck one with glossy back cover but some of the drawbacks of the optimus one are:
1.) Poor camera picture quality than all nokia 2mp cameras.
2.) Very low speaker sound output.
3.) Laggy interface.
4.) Low in-call volume.

Advantages:
1.) Xcellent screen.
2.) Good build quality.
3.) Good battery back up.
