Help LG Optimus T handle google navigation well?

I was wondering how it handles googles own built in turn by turn navigation I had heard that this phone came with tmobiles version of navigation which I would not be intrested in using, I do travel around sometimes and wanted to know how the LG Optimus T handles it performance wise.

I have used the most recent google maps navigation and it worked fine on the T. No lag, no problems. Didn't even seem to mind that I only had a 2G connection.

I don't always buy a data daypass, so when I don't have data I use the wonky-but-excellent US-only version of CoPilot.
