Help Lg Optimus T Ringtones Help

i would like to get an app that has spanish ringtones. let me word that again. i'd like to use it as a notification or text ringtone. i am current using zedge. great app except they dont offer any corridos or anything like that. now with myxer i find every ringtone i'm looking for except it only is applied as a ringtone. i cant use it as a notification tone. any help would be appreciated. oh n i have android 2.2........if it matters

Create a folder on the sd card called "notifications" and place whatever audio files you want there and you will be able to select them as text alerts or other notifications

Can you walk me through the steps to set my texts and notifications got custom ringtones

The phone doesn't have custom notifications for text messages from different senders, so I installed "SMS Popup" (Adam K) to take care of that. Free, with optional donation (which I did make cuz it's awesome).

I didn't know about adding a \notifications folder, but I don't really need it since I installed "Rings Extended" (Dianne Hackborn). Totally free, and you never even see it once it's installed.

And if you know how to get mp3s on your phone, you can make ringtones from them with "Ringtone Maker" (Big Bang Inc.). Free, ad-supported.
