LG Optimus V or Samsung Intercept?

Thinking about both! Any Help?:) Ah and also! I don't really care for the keyboard!:p Just for the speed, performance, and UI.:o

OpV. It's hands down without a doubt the better of the two phones. While I had no issues with my Intercept, the OpV is most definitely the better of the two.... it's like going from a Ford Pinto to a 1970 Chevelle SS.

If the keyboard is not important then this is not even a question
In terms of overall speeds
The Optimus V hands down.

On paper the Intercept has an 800MHz CPU (central processing Unit)
the Optimus V has a 600MHz main processor.

What makes the Optimus so much better is the addition of a dedicated GPU (graphics processing unit) and a dedicated data processor. Those two processors makes biggest difference in the world.

Optimus has slight more pixels. Optimus has a 320 x 480 screen compared to 240 x 400 for the Intercept, or a 60% increase in pixel count

And terms of the networkm the Optimus is also on a newer 3g network. Optimus has an EV-DO Rev. A radio versus an EV-DO Rev. 0 radio in the Intercept, its not much of a difference but it is slightly faster

Actually the Samsung Intercept which uses the Samsung s3c6410 SoC DOES indeed have a GPU, the mali-200 (IIRC) which is an ARM design, but it's nowhere near as nice as the Adreno GPU on the Qualcomm SoC in the OV.

Also Qualcomm in addition to the DSP & GPU actually optimize the original ARM design rather than just slapping it into their SoC as apparently, Samsung does with their SoCs as the DSP & GPU alone would not entirely explain the superior perf of the OV.

Optimus V wins hands down. Intercept can barley run angry birds. Very laggy. If you wait you can get the Moto Triumph that comes out this month and kills both of these phones. There are rumors of it coming out July 19 Just something to think about.
