lg p920 power button doesnt work

i have a lg optimus p920 3D phone.

basically, My power button doesnt work anymore.

so i cant turn off my phone. the only way to turn it off is to take out the battery. when i put the battery back the phone doent boot. until i plug it in the charger then it starts up.

so i know the problem. I just need a diagnosis for my phone and hence i kniw what to do next to fix this issue.

its really frustrating, because when my phone screen times out, the only way to turn it again is to call my phone, send a text msg, or plug it in the charger since the power button/ standby button doesnt work amymore.

pleeeeeease i need some expert HELP ASAP!!!

I have the exact same problem. Is there anyone with a resolution.

The only way would be to either
A. Get it fixed
B. Root the device and setup an alternate wake function
