Help LG PC Suite IV issue

Hi guys and Galls,

all new here.... just turned proud owner of a P500. Liking it!

Quick Q: got a prob with LG PC Suite. I definitely have a 2Gb micro SD card installed, but every time I want attempt putting music etc. from PC to phone, the blimmin' software tells me that i should insert an SD card (it states i don't have one inserted, which is BS).

Anyone any idea?

The SD card in the phone is the one that came with it out of the box. Has all sorts of files on it, so i don't just want to format it to see if that solves the prob......

In addition to this, you can also press the 'turn on USB storage' button when the big green android robot appears on the screen.

If this doesn't work (as LG PC sync is so flakey) you can always access the SD card through My Computer on your PC

Yeah, done all that, unfortunately.....still no good :mad:

Flakey is the right word, I guess. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole lot a couple of times, with and without updates, to no avail....

I'll just use my micro card as an "external drive" and go through Windows.

It seems to work about 10% of the time for me. I long since gave up trying to use PC sync for transferring media.

I am still surprised at how poor the sync options with Outlook are for Android.

Coming from a Blackberry, it just makes Android look like a toy.
