So a while ago, I found some LG G2x and I want to use them, the ting is that both have problems.

1. One of my G2x has a problem where if I plug in the phone to a wall and try to turn it on, it would show LG logo then the screen would turn black and it would do that repeatedly. If I unplug it, then it does not even work. It never charges and never turns on.

2. My second G2x never even charges at all, the charger fits perfectly, but nothing happens.

Any help?

Please respond if you know a possible way to fix these problems.
I want to use my G2x again.

These were out in 2011.
Throw them away and don't look back.

i'm guessing these were used....correct?
yeah never buy used phones that are that old. batteries only have a finite life time. curious are the batteries removable? you might be able to replace the batteries.......that is if you can find any made specific to your phones.

I bought them brand new a long time ago, they are used by me.
The batteries are removable but I don’t know if it can be replaced.

ok well phones that have been sitting a long time, the batteries will still slowly drain. the problem starts to happen when the battery are completely dry. if they stay in that state and do not get recharged then they become harder to bring back to life. if you can find replacement batteries, that would be your best bet. if you can't, then i would move on to newer better phones.

I will try to replace the batteries.
What about the second phone. The charging port is broken or something.

i have no clue how....i'm no technician. if it was me, i would get a new phone.

but you are not me.......so you can do two things:
1. take it in to get a look at it by a technician
2. if you are a DYI guy then here you go:

Even if you get the phone working, you probably would only be able to use for calls and texts and the camera and that is it.

The phone is so outdated that some of the apps wouldn't work. This phone came out on Froyo/2.2.

8 GB internal memory maybe room for one app.

I remember the G2X. When it launch it was supposed to be the slimmer, sexier, Superior phone to the original G2 and as I recall it was a total flop:oops:.
You might be able to get a battery on Amazon or Craigslist.
Here's an idea if by some miracle your able to find a battery and are able to charge them and turn them on open your photo gallery and take your iPhone and take a picture of the pictures on your G2X:thumbsupdroid:
