Help Lg questions

So I've been on these forums for a while (since it started actually)
and i didn't read a major problem yet. I would be so grateful if you posted the main problem you have with your esteem's. Follow by the problems can you answer some questions about this phone, please :) .

First question; so I've read about the LED light changing colors (the touch-sensitive buttons on the front). Is this true? When you get a message its a different color, and when you get a call/voice mail its again a different color?

Second question; I know I've read that PG has a kernel already, and sooner or later there will be a new CWM, maybe ported, but i was thinking of getting this phone in somewhere in November, if not December. Would you tho=ink this phone would be on sale on Black Friday, during November?

Third, and last, question; Can it play 3-D games? Like the HTC Evo or the HTC sensation? and when you press the touch-sensitive buttons, do you feel haptic feedback (Rumble/vibration )?
 
I can answer the first one yes there is a led notification light on top which comes in very handy, when it's blue it's a incoming text on the phone. when it's green it's an incoming email, when is red is when the phone is charging. I wish it turn colors while charging but then again can ask for everything to be perfect, but I am happy with this phone feels like I have an evo. :)

Just as Mike28 said, there are different colors for notifications. It also turns from red to green I believe when its fully charged. I use K9 for email and I forgot about the notification colors that stock email has. I went and checked and K9 has it too but I selected purple (default) for the LED notification and sent an email but I was notified with blue, prolly since there is only red, green blue LEDs. Now when its on charger, it shows red while charging, and when I disconnected charger, I then saw the blue notification.

As far as Black Friday, i had no idea that Metro had cool sales during that time, but I see alot of people asking this same question so who knows. I guess I am more concerned with big box electronic stores and what they have to offer and never think about phones lol.

And 3d games, not too sure what 3d ones you are talking about but I have installed 2 '3d'ish games, Lanesplitter a 3d motorcycle game and Diversion a 3d platformer which both work wonderfully with no lag at all.
 
Thanks for the answers :) . Yeah I guess we will have to wait and see for treatment black Friday deals, and same goes here I don't worry about phones during the other great deals !

And for 3D , lane splitter is a very high 3D game, but can you teat two games for me..

Well I found a "Cubes Free" in the market, android dude dodging cubes....very fun and no lag...love it, thanks! :)

And for Nova, there are alot of things called Nova this and Nova that, so I installed Nova Activated demo, but it crashed when I started level 1 when a missle struck the thing in the center....but not sure if this was the Nova you were talking about....

Yeah cube free is fun on my friends phone, and thanks for trying them out. The Nova I'm talking bout has like a weapon like halo or call of duty . I play it on my dad's evo . I requires a lot of 3D software in phones, when I get home ill link you to it
 
Just found it, its Nova by Gameloft, and it will not show up in the market for my Esteem. Went to their website and it said the game does not support this handset (LG MS910).

Nova 1 does not work on the Gingerbread OS. I forced the game onto my phone and it loads with sound but will not display. This is a known issue that Gameloft hasn't cared about correcting. Nova 2 should work on our phone though.

Here are some games I currently have installed that work, all of which are 3D/Open GL (some have lag/slowdowns since the Snapdragon GPU is not as powerful as the Indulge's Hummingbird):

Gun Bros
Lane Splitter
Super KO Boxing 2
Skies of Glory
Hero of Sparta
Contract Killer: Zombies (LOTS OF FRAMERATE SLOWDOWNS)
Quake 2 (framerate slow downs)
Playstation Emulator: FF7, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Silent Hill (some slowdowns with FF7 when using psx4droid but none with FPse)
