I have a gmail account but, when this was set up the gentleman in the Verizon store set the phone up. I provided info for him to enter but have no idea what the passwords are! I have purchased a iPhone and would like to have the gmail account to follow to the new phone. The email still works on the old phone. How do I reset the password when I have no idea what the kid entered?
 
Try going to gmail in a browser. Tap (or click if you're on a PC) the Need help? link then select I don't know my password.

I guess this will send a reminder to the alternative email address that (I hope) the kid will have set up for you.
