lg shine contacts help

[tinao]

when a contact calls me they show up as unknown. how do i fix this problem?

Welcome to the Android Forums!

If the call is coming up as unknown that means the phone/phone system calling you is not providing the telephone number digits to your wireless carrier. It typically has nothing to do with your phone...

[tinao]

so nothing can be done?

If the call is displaying on your phone as "Unknown" then, unfortunately, nothing can typically be done.

your contact may have their id turned off/blocked.
