Help LG Shine Plus issues...

So after about 3 months of having this phone delete my messages and force close on me, and not connect to the update tool, i finally figured it out and while it was updating to 2.3.3 or whatever, it shut off and my phone went into emergency mode. I pulled the battery out, and tried again. It said that my phone didn't need an update, but when i went to "about phone" under settings, it says "firmware version: 2.1-update1"

Hi,

Alot of people have had this issue. It means your radio was updated but not your phone's firmware/ROM version (Which should be v20a instead of v10d)

There's a foolproof guide to unbrick the phone. That SHOULD work to put your phone to 2.3.3.

Otherwise if you're a bit adventurous and know your way around Android, using the custom Gingerbread ROM might also solve this issue.
