Help Lg stylo downgrade or root??

I recently picked up a lg stylo from boost mobile. I updated to marshmallow 6 and it is terribly slow compared to before I updated it. I was wondering how can I downgrade it , root it or use the bootloader to go back to 5.1.1

Unfortunately you can do none of the three on marshmallow, I think kingroot works but can only temp root it, that is root goes away upon rebooting.

Usually the best thing to do is a factory reset after a large update like from 5.1 to 6.0
Just my opinion but I think it helps to remove any left over gunk from old OS and new system seems to run much better after.
