when i plug in my usb my phone charges,but when i open LG Suite it says no phone connected when i try to open it. Any help

Is the USB mass storage activated? If so try deactivating it and give a try.
Also put in a firewall exception for the LG PC suit.

It is not a problem with the phone. I too had the same problem and I took my phone to the lg service center, and the pc suite they had was able to detect the phone. Still no luck for my pc though. Anyway, try installing all the drivers you got with the phone (though the guy at the service center said just the latest version of PC Suite is enough). Also, try win xp. Sadly I cant try it because I threw away my XP installation CD when I installed win 7.
