LG Sunrise won't get past boot screen

So basically I bought an LG sunrise approximately 2 weeks ago. Yesterday the phone kept giving me error messages that "(app) has stopped working". The phone then went black and rebooted and has since been stuck at the LG boot screen. I've tried a factory reset and nothing seems to work. Anybody have any suggestions?

Since it's only 2wks old I'd return it to the shop instead of messing around with it

I have the same phone and same problem. Unfortunately I have had mine a bit longer, and opted not to get the longer protection plan. Does anyone know how I can get the firmware for this phone? It doesn't show up on LG's support website at all.
