Root LG Ultimate 2 Stock 4.4.2 Unmodified & Deodexed

If someone can't read the OP, they should not be flashing roms
That's great here and now.
Months later on a local drive or other site not so much.

Sure there are ways to fix it, but you could help with one change instead of relying on many to do it.

Feel free to rename the zip once it's on your local machine or not use the rom ;)

That was my point. Relying on all the users to do individually what you could do for all easily.

Hopefully others with ROMs for the other devices will make theirs more easily identified.

I hope I never need this one.

is this rom completely stock, meaning it has no LG integration at all, and it uses the stock launcher of KitKat, or am i misunderstanding it?

does this have a recovery reboot menu? or will i have to use flashify to reinstall twrp, plus this is already rooted right?

No. You will have to use Flashify or G2 Tweaksbox to get into recovery. Also, it's already rooted on the stock debloated odex.

could you please tell me how you got your phone to work again mine is suck on the lg start up screen after trying to download that debloated rom. Please I hope i didn't brick my phone
I believe I did a factory rest and then managed to get into TWRP to reinstall my Backup I made. I dont remember exactly tho. It was awhile ago.

If you were able to get to recovery, you were not bricked. The most common reason for failure when flashing a rom is user error ;)

Yes, I think I forgot to do a factory rest before installing the ROM. The ROM works! It was on my end that the issue occurred.

Thanks! I always love stock ROMs. And you said devices must have CWM on them to flash ROMs, well don't forget to add TWRP. Because you fixed all the bugs in TWRP, so now we can flash ROMs. http://androidforums.com/threads/twrp-for-lg-ultimate-2-bugs-fixed.917529/

When I type Japanese on this ROM, everything shows up as Chinese. How can I use Japanese as my system locale?

I noticed on one of my newer Android TracFones that only English and Spanish are included. I guess this is something that TracFone does with their phones, then, right?

If so, how would one "add" a language? I heard of decompiling APKs and manually translating strings, but there is a Japanese translation of Android already.

Remove the duplicate posts?

You can use the VolDown + Power button combination to perform a factory reset. Completely shut down the phone, hold both buttons to turn it back on, and when the LG logo appears, quickly release and hold both buttons again to enter Factory Reset mode.
