I asked this the other day. Really great info. I'm trying to do some kernel developing with cutomizations too.

Not yet. Try to get my ducks in a row first, . Its going to be for the LS660/Tribute.
The link is really good, it explains it nice and concise. Plus there are lead off links that get you further in the development too.

So what do you have so far?
Getting my Volt Thursday.

LG has VOLT default 1.2 MHz processor
have achieved some overloking 1.8 MHz

a modified kernel would be a great
contribution to the community, because at
the moment there Roms only modified: /

@spock1104 I was under the impression that OP was developing a kernel and needed help.
I saw Whoshotjr2006 kernel, looks good. I'm going to try building one for ls660/tribute soon. But will try his with Volt I'll get hopefully tomorrow.

Code is 95% there in kernel for it, just something system side (I'm thinking mpdecision) is borked.

In order to get my kernel on the Awe to work correctly I had to delete both mpdecision and thermald.
