LG Vortex side keys

Hi. Can someone please tell me if you can make one of the side keys on the side of a LG Vortex phone a shortcut for the camera? If you can please tell me how.

Are they designated as volume keys? If so, I'm not sure you can change them. The LG Vortex section might hold better answers though: LG Vortex - Android Forums
