Help LG Vortex Unresponsive Touch Screen

I have had my Vortex for a couple months and have had no problems except today when I went in the yard and didn't have pockets I stuck it in the waistband of my gym shorts and it stayed. When I got in this afternoon the screen wouldn't work. The buttons work but not the screen. I even stuck it in rice for a while thinking it might have been the sweat but it still didn't work.

If any suggestions, all will be considered, tried, and I will let outcome be known.

Probably a stupid question but, have you tried rebooting?
