Everyone I know has a Samsung galaxy....whichever version....
I love my LG V..... however as I'm getting older I need a bigger screen lol
I walked in a mobile store and all around me are all Galaxies......
....and ONE lg. .. the LG optimus F6....
I really like it ...and its half the price..
..is Samsung really much better phone than the LG, or is that a preference thing..
And why are Galaxy phones so much mote money...

LG has some good phones, but Samsung currently has many models that are more popular. Regarding which is better - that's a matter of preference.

If you like the LG Optimus F6 get it.

I have the same concerns LG vs Samsung.

As one who prefers to be open minded, I'm going to trust that LG has made big progress over the last few years. That's how long it's been since I owned one that was only mediocre.

The upcoming Nexus 5 will be my next phone, since it's made by LG I'll know before too long if I made a good decision. :)

I'm perfectly happy with my Nexus 4, so LG get a big  from me

The only Samsung I ever owned was total pants, but that was years ago ;)

Have to say, I still find Samsung's build quality to be below par - not bad, just not up with the best. Mind you, LG is also not up with HTC (who are best for droids right now IMO). Only people who match HTC are Apple

As earlier posts have mentioned, the Nexus 5 (also by LG) is due to be announced any day: I'd wait to see what that has to offer as, if it's anything like the N4, it's going to be the latest, greatest LG but at roughly half the price :D
