Light Flow LED notification keeps blinking even after I check my text message

This is very annoying. Light Flow works... but then the LED just stays blinking even after I read my text message. Any idea how to get it to automatically turn off once I actually read the message?

I think if you go into Lightflow, and tap on Notifications, Then tap on the notification you want to edit (apparently it is text messages in your case), then you can select the "Clear Notification Style". There are three options. I think you want option 2, "Notification Removed".

I tried this.. for some reason the light still blinks. I'm using Textra... so perhaps it's an issue on their end

It'll blink sometimes until you pull the notification bar down then click on light flow. It'll take u into the setting (just back out) but the light will stop blinking.

Send an email to LightFlow support. Guarantee you the developer gets back to you within 24 hours. Probably within 2-3 hours.

I don't have this problem. I also turned off the Light Flow persistent icon in the notification area, because I don't like useless fillers taking up real estate on my screen.

These are the general menu setting which I have selected (all others aren't, or are disabled via parent menu settings): Enable Light Flow, Dark Theme, Nexus 5 force LED reset, Enable "Clear all", Accessibility check, Version upgrade reminder

Also, try restarting (power cycling) your Nexus 5 after you make changes in Light Flow. For some reason Light Flow doesn't seem to work on my Nexus 5 when I first install it, but will after a restart, so maybe there's an off chance that will help.

In Textra settings, try:
Default for Notifications -> Tap Notification -> Opens Textra.
I've just tried that and it seems to prevent the notification from continuing to flash with my quick test, hopefully it carries on working!

I had a blink light issue like this but it was connected with email,not message so i just uninstalled the email app as i'm not into emails on my phone.Might be worth looking into your emails

You can also go into lightflow and look to see which notifications it considers "active" which indicates which one is not clearing. Then you can use that information to try and figure out where the problem is.
