Light saber app!

I think that Android third party developers need to make us a Light saber app too damnit! Since Android is the most innovative phone out there.Why dosnt our phone yield the powers of the force also? =P I think it would be awesome to be able to have virtual phone saber fights with our buddies with other light saber yielding phones.Picture this if you would "you see your buddy who just came in the room who has an iphone or even another g1, you give each other the evil stare down.. your other friend looks at the two of you & he's wondering wtf?? "whats up with these two?"Then all of a sudden you hear two Light sabers being unshielded and you and your friend are off on a quick virtual saber fight. Now some people might think that a saber app is useless or even dumb but i bet if they had the app on their phone and someone who owned an iphone busted out their saber then they wouldnt neglect their very own light saber in an opportunity to use it would they?

BOTTOM LINE IS We (android g1 phone) need a Light saber app too guys, wtf?? why does apple get to have all the fun? this saber app shouldnt only be available for apple, there are two sides of the force, not just one! if you agree with this request then please speak up! the more people that request it then the stronger the chances of us getting one:confused:
 
Your theoretical situation is about the saddest thing I can imagine. A bunch of grown men waving their phones around acting out a fictional battle with fictional weapons. Do that too often and the men with white suits will be coming for you.
 
I'm with you on this we do need a light saber app but I think we also need to add the laser gun sounds as well just in case you wanna have a battle from a distance, plus it would just be a one up to the iphone app =P

lmfao! i was thinking the same thing. thats a useless app.
 
Well when the lightsaber app first hit the iphone Apple pulled it because the devs never got the licensing rights from Lucasfilms. Of course once they saw the demand Lucasfilms quickly worked out a licensing deal with the devs and they rereleased it.

I would bet as soon as pay apps become available they'll put out the app because its a licensed material it has to make some money for them or anyone else to do it, you know, or get sued for copyright infringement.
 
I had it on an S60 handset before it even appeared on the iPhone (yes there were phones before the iPhone heh) lasted about 5 minutes and then grew entirely bored with it.

If it's what you want and like then hey it's all good, different people like different things but it won't be adorning my handset.

THERES SOME REALLY STUPID APPS OUT THERE LIKE THE 8 BALL BUT AT LEAST THIS ONE PPL WILL ENJOY..AND EVERYONE WHO DOSNT LIKE THE IDEA OF THIS APP THEN JUST DONT INSTALL IT BUT DONT HATE ON THOSE WHO HAVE A BETTER IMAGINATION.

Gas is kinda cheap now, so that makes Gasbot useless to me....so...:eek:
 
Lord... I want a TASER app.... something that will discharge the battery and .00001% of my life force out the USB port and do 10d20 damage to the nearest Star Wars nerd (as long as it doesn't take down my 10 year old):D

first off chill. No need to SHOUT. I like the magic 8 ball but don't like the Light saber idea.

Same difference but you are hating on something others like but don't like it when someone doesn't like your idea.

Different people like different things, what floats my boat may not float yours and vice versa, so maybe drop the double standards. This is what happens on forums.

:)Yesterday I was challenged to a duel by an iPhone user.
I lost the fight before it started, because my G1 didn't have any weapons.

Help me please, where can I find a decent sword.:o
