I would like to upgrade an Eris in the next 6 months with a faster 4G phone. I've liked the Eris in general, but it lags, and although it's light, it's heavier than I would like. The Thunderbolt seems to be one logical successor, but it's even heavier. Will Verizon be selling any 4G phones under 4 ounces?

Difficult to say whether or not Verizon has something lightweight up their sleeves. The lightest LTE Android phone on Verizon's roadmap, I believe, is the Motorola Droid Bionic at 5.57 ounces.
