Limiting text/images when quoting

Most of us have done it and most of us hate seeing it. I know it is a huge pet peeve of mine. Someone starts a thread that is very long and image heavy and then the next post is a quote of the first in it's entirety simply adding "1st" or "cool!"

Would it be possible to have the forum add a hide tag to the quote if the full text is quoted and left unedited? Or if say more than 1 image tag and/or a certain number of characters?

It's up to Phases, but I agree, it's a pain.

Ok to report those, mods can trim down the quote for the really nasty ones.

Not a bad thought. I'd need to talk to the developer on this though and I really don't imagine it would be made a priority while we're running with just her right now.
