Help link2sd issues

hey guys, just a quick few questions about link2sd app that I'm having issues/concerned about. First one is that ever since I started using link2sd, first with a huawei ascend m860, and now with an LG Esteem MS910, the boot up time has always been a pretty long one. With my LG Esteem, before using link2sd, it would usually take about 2 minutes 30 seconds for it to boot up. [Using # 2 custom Rom on ZVD] I know I have a lot of apps, but when i finally chose to use link2sd, after linking most of my apps, my boot up time is now around 5 minutes. Any reasons why?

Second question is, ever since i started using link2sd on my LG Esteem, oftentimes, I get issues where when i enable Mass Storage sync to my computer, it hangs and then a notification pops up "SD Card safe to remove" and then it scans the internal SD Card and then mounts up the external sd to my computer. however, when im done with my sync, and safely unmount it from my computer and change my USB connection to Charge only, it doesn't mount my external sd card, and Im forced to have to reboot my phone. The only solution I've found that temporarily fixes this issue is to wipe data for link2sd app and run the app again like its just been installed. After a few days, I have to do the same process again. Any ideas why I'm having this issue?

Any help with these 2 problems would be very much appreciated!

Hello and welcome to the forums.Glad to see you choose the lg esteem :D sorry to see that you are having a problem with the esteem . Just need to know if the device is rooted or has been rooted . Just say if it hasn't been rooted . And u having a problem with this can be 3 things .first thing what kind of sd card u have if 4 gigs and uo u need a class 10 :D i know you are asking what's this well i have a 16gb card and the class 10 is for cell phones or highspeed data exchange . Your device may be moving slow from the card and that goes to my 2nd part which can be that u formated the sd card with the wrong fat system . 3Would be that your sd card maybe to full :what: yes full just like a person on thanksgiving day dinner :D . Check those items .

well since i mentioned that im using the custom rom #2, Ive gone beyond rooting. and I got a sandisk ultra 32gb class 10. I used fat32 for all 3 partitions on the sd card. And for the partition for link2sd, its got 5.35gb free out of 7gb, and my partition for all my data on the external sd has about 11gb free out of 22.69gb

Ok so u are rooted well go to the playstore and download ..sdrescan app. And a app called SD- Booster . Now on the sd booster app make sure u have a number 4096- 6144 . This speeds up the write on the device . And last but not least get the app called root cleaner . This app can be set to clean cache and dalvik cache and cache from other apps without booting into recovery mode . And may i ask and hope u didn't put the system app in the link to sd . Apps that can be added would be Maps (etc) anything with high mb

Ok, i got the sdrescan app, i have an app similar to sd booster and have had my sd speed at 2048 since i had highest read/write speeds at 2048 than at 3072 or 4096. But ill raise it up to one of those values you provided. Now im pretty sure i didnt link any system apps. Mainly just apps that i've installed and were big size apps. Plus, since i was having slow bootup issues, i had only linked the app itself, and kept the dalvik cache and library files unlinked, and disabled relinking of library and dalvik cache at bootup.
and well im not using 5.35gb on the link2sd partiton. I was saying that 5.35gb is how much free space i have remaining out of 7gb so Im only using about 1.5gb of the partition.

And question, what would be deleted from the apps if i were to use root cleaner and clean cache and dalvik cache? Would i lose things like game saves, app profiles, etc?

Oh and also, when the internal sd card is being scanned, it takes a really long time for it to finish. Like it increases in percentage one by one (i.e. 1%.... 2%..... 3%...) each increment for about every 2 seconds. Its not like the internal sd is full, it has about 1.5gb free out of 4gb

well when you pull down the status bar to see notifications, it shows me the sd card scanning process and it shows like "1% internal memory is preparing" or something and you can watch it as it goes up to 100% and then it do to external memory. the external memory completes within a few seconds but the internal memory can take minutes to complete

O ok well maybe if u let it do it thing when it is not in drop down cause the system may be slow cause it looking and waiting for u to make a selection . But did the other things work
