Root Link2sd not moving the library files.

Hello
I am using Samsung Galaxy Ace Gt 5830i, rooted and having a 1.5 gb 2nd partition on Sd card. Whenever I download an app from Play store , it gets installed in my SD card (1st partition) after which i link the apk+dex+lib manually using Link2sd. Whenever i link the app, i saw that i recover the size equivalent to the dex size in my internal memory, for eg if the dex size is 2 mb and lib size is 4 mb and my internal free space is 30 mb before linking, then after linking the files i saw the internal free space is shown 32 mb. I don't understand why i didn't recover the space due to the lib files. Is it that the library files are not deleted from the internal memory but are merely copied to the Sd 2nd partition. I am confused. Please help.

I don't use link2sd exactly because of what you are going through, its a big mess to keep an eye on it, whether it is working properly or not, whether it is moving all the files, or the files i selected it to move, then keep an eye on the real internal memory in case it becomes low again, so to sort out all this mess, i threw away link2sd and adopted cronmod scripts, i haven't looked at my storage indicators since i flashed it, it manages the whole the thing itself, if a file is supposed to be moved, then it will be moved.

Chayanb: I've had quite a positive experience with Link2SD. But you're right about the library files. From the FAQ:

Q. Library files that I linked get unlinked after restarting my phone, why?
On Android 2.3 and 2.2, the links to the lib files are being lost after rebooting because the PackageManager service unpacks all native libraries from the apk files at boot time.
Link2SD on my GT-S5830i does not, by default, link the library files, because when you reboot they'll all be moved back to internal memory anyway.

If you need some short-term extra memory you can force Link2SD to link the library files -- just fire up Link2SD, select the app from the list, remove the link and then link again and select the tick-box for moving the library files too. On the other hand, if you move a load of library files over, and then install more apps, and then your phone crashes or runs out of battery and reboots, it might not be much fun when the OS tries to unpack a bunch of library files and finds there's no room to put them in the internal memory, where Android 2.3 wants them...
