Greetings, I'm preparing to flash Android 7.1.1 onto a Huawei Nexus 6P when it arrives in a week or two. I downloaded https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-linux.zip but am having library problems:
$ ./platform-tools/adb version
./platform-tools/adb: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by ./platform-tools/adb)
./platform-tools/adb: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.15' not found (required by ./platform-tools/adb)
The version previously used with a Nexus 5 is functional:
$ adb version
Android Debug Bridge version 1.0.32
Is there a cure for the newer adb to work, short of installing a newer systemd OS, please?
