I'm going to start setting up the cloud archive. Do you mind if I add those files to my archive? Or if you throw the ROM and gApps into drive, you can share it with me and I can add it that way.

EDIT: I added it in the archive for now. Archive should be live sometime tonight.

I don't own the files so I can't necessarily give you permission but I doubt anyone would have an issue with it. I'll probably continue hosting it but it'd be best if everything was in a central location so your archive would probably be best.

I know I don't have a problem with it, and I doubt anyone else will either.

Maybe give rep to Cameron581, because he is the one who ported most of these ROMs.
 
Make sure you clean wipe and insall the ICS baseband in order to install ICS and above version ROMs. Make sure to flash an ICS ROM, a CM10 ROM, then a CM10.1 ROM just incase the baseband gets messed up. Also CM10.2 is out if you want it, check it out!
 
Hey I have a question,
Do I need to flash the cm 10 and 10.1 to get to 10.2 and does cm 10.2 need the ics base band or some other base band
 
Yes I would flash CM10, 10.1, then 10.2 just in case it doesn't get messed up, and after you flashed the ICS baseband once, you don't need to flash it again (Once you have Android 4.0 and up versions installed).
 
thank you turk for answering my question. I have one question when i am flashing the cynogen rom do i have to do a wipe each time i flash to the next version of the cyanogen rom or only the first time that i flash. because currently i am on the slim bean 4.1.2 ROM.
 
Now I'm confused..Are you guys saying if I want to try CM10.2 I need to flash the previous versions in order? Essentially need to flash 3 roms just to get 10.2?
 
that is essentially what Turk has explained to me. Seems like the trouble for a single ROM. and iam not even sure how to flash it either. do i have to wipe each time i install the next version or can i just install them consecutively this is something I have been trying to figure out if anyone could answer that would be great.
 
No no. Sorry I probably misunderstood you buzzard, you do NOT have to flash every ROM before flashing CM10.2... If you have Android 4.2 (Any ROM) you can flash CM10.2... If you have any version below 4.2 i.e. 4.1, I recommend you flash 4.2 then 4.3.
 
Hey turk thank you for clearing that up for me. otherwise it seemed like a big hassle. No worries about the misunderstanding it happens to the best of us. I think that I will make the switch to the cynogenmod as another poster noted in another thread that the cynogen mod is much smoother then the slimbean 4.1 rom and plus it has the widgets on the lockscreen which is a big asset for me.
 
I just flashed CyanogenMod 10 to my moms fusion 2. However I forgot to flash the Gapps. Does this matter? The rom booted fine and seems to be working great? I downloaded blackmart alpha for apps so thats not a problem. I was going to add them just to be safe but its saying unable to connect to the IP on the download site. If it would be best to add does anyone have a copy they can link me to? My moms in love and in shock its the same phone! lol The phone wasn't running to well and FC many apps and freezing. This fixed it 100%! Also I saved my imei and 3g with the method told but never restored it, however phone seems to be working fine? Any comments? Thanks!
