They did some excellent stuff. What's your favourite album?

That's tough. I put APP with in with the likes of Steely Dan since they always brought something new with each album. Still, I'd have to go 'old school' here and say I, Robot.

Rush (the greatest rock musicians of all time!)

Oh, you're one of "THEM". ;) I work with somebody who can't seem to find the sufficient amount of superlatives to describe Rush.

Good one. In fact I don't think there's a bad album really. All include some real gems

He's totally right. I mean individually they are world class musicians with technical skill and creativity that is peerless. You can listen to any one of those guys playing their instrument, and admire it as a solo. How often can you say that about drum kit? Yet I could listen to Neil Peart all day.
Collectively as a band, their performance and musical creations are above and beyond anything else I've listened to. They are simply creativity and musical skill at its very best.

Let me talk to your colleague, I think we'd have an interesting conversation :)

Somehow I've always connected the band Rush with Styx which I'm a great fan of.:D

Any group Leonard Cohen performed with.

The first lyric form him captured my attention forever … "I've been sentenced to 20 years of boredom for trying to change the system from within:
