Help Lithium Ion Batteries

Hy Guys
I have read alot about battery charging and Battery saving tips.
& what I found is that in latest smartphones when battery reaches to 100% it automatically disconnects from the charger and thus does not over charge.
But If any one got any source related to that Kindly provide that.

Different devices handle it differently.

Some give it just enough charge to keep it at 100%, some let it drop to a certain percentage and then start charging again (apparently, I've never had a device that does this).
