Little help moving number to a new phone...

I am trying to move my phone new number from one StraightTalk phone to another StraightTalk phone and I'm a bit confused.

I log into my ST account, pick Transfer Number and then Transfer my Existing Straight Talk Service.

Now this screen confuses me. I want to take my current SIM (which is a BYOD SIM on a Nexus 4) and put int my Nexus 5 (still BYOD). It says:

Please enter your NEW PHONE'S 11, 14, 15 or 18 digit Serial Number/IMEI/MEID HEX/MEID DEC below. Your Serial Number can be found in the Red Activation card that came in your phone's package. You can also click the "help" link for instructions on how to find your Serial Number on your phone.

If you purchased a SIM card for the Bring Your Own Phone program, please enter the last 15 digits of your SIM card number. (Do not enter your phone

I decided to do the "smart" thing and just moved the BOYD SIM card to my new phone.. rebooted... and it let me call StraightTalk support so I could ask them if I actually had to do anything with my account online.

No one could answer that.

I couldn't get text messages, so I created a new APN with the same settings as my Nexus 4.. and that works. I see LTE connectivity (ATT SIM card).

Do I actually need to do anything with StraightTalk?

No you do not. with sim cards you only need to move the sim card to the new phone and put the correct apn into the new phone and your done.

You do not need to transfer anything online, or in your account.
