Help little help with android market??

I have xperia X8 with 1.6. My problem is that i can't download and install applications or games from android market (few days ago i could).Every time an error occurs that my downloading was unsuccessfull and i should try again but no luck. Could anyone help me?

Try clearing the cache....

go to settings->applications->market->clear cache

I just tried it but still nothing.

The other one to try is uninstalling updates and see if that clears it. The market is being really temperamental across all phones and different things work for different people. Just being persistent and keeping trying can get you there eventually in some cases, doing the clearing cache and updates helps some people.

I've had a HTC Hero and an X8 and at first i had the very same problem, when i clicked download nothing would happen but when i went to download the app again it would already say it was starting to download but i never would.
