I'm going to assume you want a comparison against the iPhone.

As far as I know there is nothing that the iPhone can do that Android phones cannot, with the exception of video calling now. However, that is only via wifi, and only to other iPhones, so you can't go anywhere while your talking and you can't call anybody but another iPhone user. So, I'm not real upset about not having that... "feature".

That being said, there are plenty of things that Android can do that you can't do on an iPhone...

For instance, I just learned that iPhone 4 will let users change their home screen background. I mean, seriously? That's pretty basic stuff.

I know Android has it's issues, and bluetooth voice dialing is one of them close to my heart.


So, I'll be glad to open and honestly discuss the pros and cons of android in relation to any other phone.

There are many on this site that do act as you describe but there are many more who are helpful and are realistic regarding Android. There are certainly certain topics that attract those types but you'll find the vast majority of this site is fair and open, although most of us are bias to some extent towards Android.

However if you think this site is bad I dare you to go to an Apple forum and say anything 'blasphemous' about Steve Jobs, his company or his products. You'll find this place is quite hospitable.

We generally talk about the faults of Apple and others' products because this is an Android forum.
In normal discourse we joke and mess around and point out the bad aspects of Apple.
I am exactly the same way with my friends. However if you ask us for a rational review of an Apple product, we'd find the good elements in them and provide an unbiased viewpoint.

If you create a topic asking for our serious opinions on the iPad (for example), you'll get the usual immature squabbling and ignorance from 13 year olds you'd get from any forum, but the majority of us will answer properly.
