hi
does anyone know how to take a photo only focus on the object we want and the background is blurry?
does x10 have it?
thanks

It's mainly to do with the lens, so for longer range photo's it is not possible, but if you are taking a close up, just enable the macro setting from one of the options on the left :)

The effect you want is motion blur and is achieved via shutter speed settings which the X10 cant do.

You can add it after with programs like G.I.M.P or paint.net which are free open source photo manipulation software for the PC but I have yet to find a photo editor for the X10 that would allow you to do it on the phone.

Or, and it is trail and error. You need to move the camera at the exact speed the subject matter is moving at and then you will get the motion blur effect of the subject matter is still and the back/foreground is blurred.

Set touch focus and tap what you want to zoom in on, it should focus and anything outside this focus should be blurry

You can try Camera 360 (Free or Pro), there is the Tilt-shift mode and a bunch of effects that are really nice. Here is a pic I took with it :)
