live streaming not working !

HI... i recently purchased an HTC desire X phone.....it has android ice cream sandwich 4.0 installed on it....im facing problem playing live streaming videos from the web on this phone....even the live videos streaming on apps downloaded from android market are not playing.....but youtube works fine !! y only live streaming is not playing....pls help me out !!!

Hi k1sat. Welcome to these forums. I don't own your phone so I'm not certain what your problem might be. I did a net search and found this statement:
There's no dedicated video player onboard the HTC Desire X, which means that video files have to be accessed via the Gallery. I don't know if or how this might be effecting your streams. What I read makes me believe the phone has the necessary drivers to play most all vids. Perhaps another with more experience with your phone will chime in. Enjoy....

hello mr moderator....thanks a lot for your reply....but I just want a clarification as to what I should do as of now for the live streaming to work....I need to watch live cricket in my office hours....on my mobile

get mx player app and when asked to watch a video select this app.it should play most of the videos.
the original web browser should also play them if they are flash encoded or html5(it does on my desire c which is basically the same only with lowered specs)
