Help Live Wallpaper not displaying properly

Bearmtch

Lurker
I have a live wallpaper that is not displaying right, I'm running an lg g3 that's up to date on firmware and updates, it works on my tablet, but not on my phone why is this, what could be causing this?
This is the wallpaper I'm trying to use and this is what it is supper to look like

If you have a security on your device it will say it's a risk, but it isn't I would not upload material to destroy someone else's device. I just uploaded my file in hopes someone could help me figure out why it would work on other device but not the one I intend for it to work on. My guess is it isn't drawing from the drawables correctly.

Also if like to point out this is not a paid app from the app store this wallpaper was a ripped file from my old r2d2 droid 2 phone.

Sounds like a compatibility problem, in that it works properly on the old Droid 2 but not the new LG G3. Most likely only person who can fix that is the live wallpaper app's developer, possibly with an updated version.

Like I said works on a fully up to date galaxy tablet why is that the case?

Different device, different Android build, different hardware and architecture, etc. I actually tried your attached Millennium Falcon wallpaper app on an Oppo R7 Plus phone with Lollipop 5.1.1, it crashes completely, so definitely incompatible here. And it's only the original developer with their source code, would possibly be able to fix it. What versions of Android are on your Droid 2, LG G3 phone and Samsung Galaxy tablet?

The droid 2 is mia it got stolen a while back so can't tell you that one's android version. The tablet is 4.4.2. My lg g3 is 5.0.1

OK, so I think we can possibly conclude from that, the Millennium Falcon live wallpaper app doesn't work properly and has problems with 5.x Lollipop devices, but it's fine with 4.4.2 Kitkat. I take it that it's not on Google Play and the developer is no longer interested in updating it, i.e. abandoned and discontinued. If so, there's not a lot we can do about that.
