Live wallpaper question

Does the live wallpaper actually drain the battery at a noticeable amount compared to a still wallpaper? I have just used the standard background so far but I like some of these live ones. I need my battery to last about 14 hours with normal use. Would the live wallpaper really effect the battery a whole bunch?

Not unless you sit there with your screen on the homescreen with the live background going for hours on end. I use one and notice very little battery drain. I typically get 15-17 hours on my battery with moderate use.

Ok cool. I'm not a heavy user and my screen is set to timeout in 15 seconds anyway so I figured it would be ok. After a full day my battery is usually down to 20-25% and that would be at about 15-16 hours.

Suppose it all depends on what live wallpaper you want to use as some will be more graphically intense I'd be guessing. I ran a live wallpaper (can't remember the name) that had a multi layer vortex spin effect and with moderate use Ifew games. Calls and Facebook I was seeing about 14 hours.

Think a sick it and see is required. :-)

I love and always use live wallpapers and I am happy with battery life.

Saying that I do use Juicedefender!
