How bad does the live wallpaper eat up the battery..and what are some of the better live wallpapers

I stay away from them, slows down the phone too much.

I use them and haven't really noticed a lag or problems with battery life. Plus, they're fun. I don't know where you would find more interesting ones, I have just searched the market for "live wallpapers, " but so far have just stock with the stock ones.

I disagree. I used marijuana live wallpaper and it didnt hogs anything but abit slight decreased battery life. Moderated usage/7+ hr with non-rooted user.

So, its not all live wallpapers does that though.

I use PanoPlanet and Album Art (AndroidGamer) without any battery issues, nor performance

I use them and don't notice any significant decrease in battery performance.

I've noticed a little lag while using Live Wallpapers. I also noticed a slight increase in battery consumption. Not sure how significant though.

I use PanoPlanet and notice very little battery drain due to it....PanoPlanet is well worth it
!! Best live wallpaper available in my opinion!!
