Alright, I had a droid x that I had rooted. Following some instructions it was incredibly easy to do!
1. My question is, can the bionic's operating system (Stock factory) be reloaded using ubuntu linux like it was done with the droid x? I understand Motorola isn't using sbf anymore...
Lets just use this scenerio...
Let's say I root my bionic and mess something up and brick it. Is the factory rom available to reload it from scratch, like new from the factory unrooted? If so, can this be done using Ubunt linux?
It was a snap with my droid x
2. I just got this phone, how long should I wait to root to ENSURE the hardware is good? Meaning, if the hardware was going to fail, I think it would do so within a couple of weeks of very heavy usage.
