No mobile devices whether Android, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Windows Phone, or Symbian, do not run full Java, only Javascript.

You are right that there is no official java plugin for mobile browsers, and no unofficial ones as far as I know. However, I have to point out that aside from some commonalities with syntax, java and JavaScript are two entirely different things.

Exactly. Of course.

What about these new fangled Windows 8 tablets. Do they have Java? Could be a possibility for the OP.

If the tablet runs a full version of Windows 8, yes. If it runs Windows RT version, no.
