Local USB Camera App?

I've got a USB camera which (with a USB A to micro-B adapter) I can plug into my Droid Razr Maxx. Technically, it's an intra-oral camera: a dental camera (no-name cheap camera). The software/drivers I have for it are for Windows. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get it to work? Thanks!

I have pretty much no technical specs for it, though I notice the PC software captures at QVGA, 320 x 240.

Your phone support USB OTG but you might need an USB OTG cable that the phone knows that it has to act as USB host.

The drivers are an other question -you might have to look for an app or better for an app by the cam producer- but you'd try it with the USB OTG cable :)

Thanks Harry, I've been trying it with a usb otg cable. I was asking about any apps that can find/read/display a usb camera.

There some apps for USB cameras in Play Store, as far as I've seen the devs have compatibility list on their web sites ... maybe you'll find your camera :)

No, as I noted this is a no-name camera: there is literally no manufacturer identified on the box. I would have to find an app that scans for a camera, or something like that. I might look for USB tools to begin to figure out how it's working. On my PC, it comes with a program that, as soon as I press the button on the camera, finds the camera and starts capturing images.

You might look on the cam's PC program at the program's properties for a hint of the manifacturer ... before you take the hard road trying the USB cam apps.
