Help Location enabled?

Greetings,
I just added a new Galaxy S3 (at&t) to my teenage daughter. My friends told me that I can trace the phone location constantly so I can know where my daughter is. Is it a true statement? If so, what kind of app is that? And do I need to buy for that service?

Thanks for all your help.

John,

Hi there

The free, native Google app, would be Latitude. If you want to add your daughter to see her location, she will have to approve you first. Like "friend request" on facebook.

If you want an app with location and security, then I would highly recommend Cerberus. This app literally saved my phone once before.
It allow you to hide it from app drawer, and call it out by using preferred password via key pad. So if someone take her device, won't be able to uninstall it, giving you time to track it, and hopefully recover it.

Beside very detail location, it allow you to take photo using front and back camera, record sound, record video and block or wipe the phone, set new password, or take photo and e-mail it on first unlock attempt, download sms log, call log... and many many more other features. All these can be done using browser interference, or by sending SMS commands, while the user is totally unaware of it.
